Throw Back Sunday: The original dorkpunch garage!

Once again was perusing Mrs. Punch's old flickr account and came across this pic.  I don't remember it, although I can easily identify her (short) and me (tall) and I can tell you exactly where it was taken.  This was in the garage of our very first house when we lived up in Washington.  The garage had been converted to two classrooms for the church next door, then used as storage units when the house was a rental.  When we bought it, I tore down the wall splitting it in half and uncovered the garage door again.  You can see one of the studs I left up that was part of the old wall, and the nail for hanging the extension cord on.

Throw Back Sunday

Eyeballs...  Mrs. Punch has done some incredible things with photography but I've always loved what she can do with eyes.

This one is I believe our youngest son, great color and clarity.  Shes got a few more like this on her flickr page.  If you look close, you can even see the old walnut tree in our front yard!

For reference, here's the rest of him:

Pretty goofy smile but gotta love those eyes!

Throw Back Sunday

Continuing with the theme... Going through Mrs. Punch's old flickr account has been pretty fun.  Tons of great memories, of which I will continue posting each Sunday.

Here's another of my favorites.  She did some background editing to this one and I love the effect.  I think I need to blow this one up and hang it on a wall (or at least in the garage if she won't let me hang it in the house).

Bonus points if you can identify the tractor.  Hint: the paint aint John Deere Greene.

Throw Back Sunday

From the vaults of Mrs. Punch's Flickr account, one of my all time favorites. This was taken by my at the time 3 yr old son. The world from his point of view!

More to come, but you can see everything else here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/sarah_turner/
