Just happened to see this over on mendlemax.com - they released a new version of their 3d printer.

Just think of all of the cool things I could do in my classroom with a 3d printer!  Sure would be cool to send my students home with a physical model of the cars they design and build in Sketchup.  Some day...

I'm reading the book Makers, The New Industrial Revolution - highly recommend it. 3D printing is a big part of the new manufacturing model. From a teaching standpoint, it sure would be nice to have something that would allow the students to make what they've designed.

I want to see the radius fingers for the brake when you get them done, by the way
